Join us for a day of action in Alton! 

We will have doorknocking in Alton Amery Ward, and delivery in other wards, available all day, followed by a social event at a local pub or cafe. 

10am - Morning Doorknock

12.30-1.30pm - Lunch (provided)

2pm - Afternoon Doorknock

Join us as we take our resident survey to Crouch End to find out people's views and what matters most to them.

The

event is for everyone, so if you have never joined us or volunteered

with us before this is for you. All first timers will be paired up with

an experienced member of the team who will provide training on what to

do, what to say, and why this matters!

Join Victoria Collins and Bridgewater's Lib Dem candidate Caroline Smith-Wright in Little Gaddesden to give the Conservatives a message and elect a Lib Dem local champion this May.

A light lunch will be provided for just £4, and refreshments will be available throughout the day.

We’re hosting an Office Open Day at the Hazel Grove Constituency Liberal Democrats Office, and we’d love for you to join us!

This is a fantastic opportunity to skill, reskill and upskill, whether you're a long-time activist or just getting started. We’ll be offering hands-on training in key areas to help our campaign run smoothly, including:

• Office & Admin Skills: Printing, folding machine operation, guillotine work, clerical tasks, and data entry.
• Phone Banking: Engaging with voters over the phone to spread our message.
• Social Media & Digital Campaigning: Best practices for reaching supporters online.
• Canvassing & Campaigning: How to have effective doorstep conversations and win over voters.

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience, meet fellow activists, and help strengthen our team ahead of the next elections.

Help us take our County out of Conservative hands polling day!

On 1st May, the Liberal Democrats have the incredible opportunity to take control of Hertfordshire County Council, after the Conservatives have been in charge for decades and asleep at the wheel for far too long. 

Labour have no chance with 3x fewer seats - only the Lib Dems have the support to beat the Conservatives. But we need your help.

Join us for door-knocking, delivering and probably a drink too as we support our local candidates, who will deliver for our area.

The Day at a Glance:

10:00am – Morning Meet & Briefing

We’ll gather at The Jolly Gardeners for a short welcome, group photo, and a rundown of the day. Meet volunteers from Putney and visiting teams from Hammersmith & Fulham, Richmond and Merton.

10:30am – Action Time!

We’ll head out in teams to take on one of three fun and impactful activities – choose what suits you best:

• Leafletting and chatting with voters
• Door-knocking with a buddy
• Street-stall style engagement in a buzzing local spot

1:00pm – Home-Cooked Lunch Break

A delicious meal awaits just around the corner at a local candidate’s home. Refuel, chat, and relax before round two.

2:00pm – Afternoon Action!

We’ll mix things up with more outreach, creative campaigning, and maybe a few surprises along the way  ( ͡?️ ͜ʖ ͡?️)

4:00pm onwards – Sunshine Social

We’ll wind down with a well-earned drink (or two!) back at The Jolly Gardeners. Time to share stories, debrief, and enjoy the sunshine together!
