Always wanted to get involved in speaking to voters but feel you want some support? Join others to take part in an introduction to canvassing with doorknocking guru, Sam Foulder-Hughes, a former campaign organiser in Southwark.
With the first part of the morning focused on training on canvassing, you will get the help you need to know what to say on the doorsteps. This will be a great introductory session for those who are new to canvassing, and will start at 10.30am, meeting at the Surrey Basin Bascule Bridge on Rotherhithe Street.
These will be informal chats with people in the area, finding out what their issues and concerns are, and how we can help. We'll then meet at 1.30pm for lunch at The Brunel, 47 Swan Road, SE16 4JN. All are welcome, whether you've been canvassing with us or not.

It all comes down to this.
All your efforts, all the doors we've knocked and leaflets delivered, have been hugely valuable and have given us a great chance to hold the seat.
But if we don't get the vote out on the day, Labour will still win this by-election because they will get their vote out. They have over 40 councillors to call on, plus all their activists, and they would love to dismantle the Lib Dem group because we are the only ones who actually hold them to account in Brent.
I'm hoping you won't let that happen - your help on polling day is vital to get us over the line.

Main station is Alperton Station (Picadilly line) but other alternatives include Stonebridge Park (Bakerloo) and Hangar Lane (Central) at opposite ends of the ward. There are alos various bus routes for those coming from nearby, and there are places to park if you are driving - lert us know and we can share recommendations.
