Aberdeenshire Liberal Democrat Vote stays solid, in spite of low voter turnout |
|
In spite of the falling turnout across the council area, the votes of the Scottish Liberal Democrats remained constant, showing a very minor drop. The average turnout for the wards was 44.81% compared to 46.45% in 2017. In fact over the elections on the 5th of May, the group grew by one to 15 councillors. This mirrors the growth in voter support for Scottish Liberal Democrats and the Liberal Democrats in other areas of the country. The election saw a number of councillors re-elected for another 5 years. The Scottish Liberal Democrat group has a great deal of experience, to bring to the citizens of the region. |
