Scottish Liberal Democrat Leader Willie Rennie has today used a visit to the Lasswade riding centre to highlight the Liberal Democrats' challenge to the SNP in seats across Scotland.

Mr Rennie said:

"At the European elections the Liberal Democrats beat the Conservatives and the Labour party for the first time in decades. We are a growing force and we are looking to win more seats and more votes at this election.

"From Orkney and Shetland to East Dunbartonshire, voters know that if they back excellent Liberal Democrat MPs they will get an MP who will push back against the SNP and their separatist agenda.

"Now voters in seats from Fife to the Highlands have the chance to remove the SNP by backing the Liberal Democrats. The ultimate antidote to a divisive nationalist MP who will use your vote to push for another independence referendum, is a vote for the Liberal Democrats and a brighter future."
