Commenting as another employee jumped ship from the troubled Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, amid an ongoing expenses row, Liberal Democrat MSP Robert Brown said:
"Clearly the SPT have had significant difficulties over the last couple of weeks.
"The expenses row needs to be properly investigated and it is important that SPT complies with these investigations.
"This row however should not detract from the important work that SPT does for the west coast of Scotland.
"After the investigation, there needs to be a renewed focus on the contribution of SPT to the delivery of high quality transport in the west of Scotland.
