SNP wasting money on Quango spin doctor – Purvis

Liberal Democrat Finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis has condemned the Scottish Government for wasting money on a spin doctor for the expensive quango, the Scottish Futures Trust.
The Scottish Futures Trust is advertising for a PR and Communications Manager, promising a "competitive salary".
Commenting, Mr Purvis said:
"The Scottish Futures Trust already has a Chief Executive on a six figure salary. The SNP Government is wasting millions of pounds on this useless and expensive quango.
"The SNP claim to be slimming down Government bureaucracy, but here they are frittering away even more taxpayers' money on a spin doctor for the Scottish Futures Trust.
"The Scottish Futures Trust, which we now know is a purely a consultancy, has hired another consultancy to advise on hiring a spin doctor. Presumably their first job will be to try and put a spin on this ridiculous waste of money."
