Commenting on the BMA call to support the development of new GP practices as Scotland's population grows, Liberal Democrat Health spokesman Ross Finnie MSP said:
"This report spells out the support that is required for our health service as Scotland's population grows.
"But what is also required is better diagnostic provision in the community.
"As the population grows we must make sure that everyone in the country has access to the diagnosis and treatment they need, where they need it."
