Commenting after challenging the First Minister about the SNP's unambitious Climate Change Bill, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott MSP said:
"The SNP boast about world leading legislation, but climate change experts this week described the Climate Change Bill as 'desperately unambitious'.
"Today a desperate First Minister was left scrabbling around for endorsements. The only one he could conjure up was last year's reaction to the Bill from the WWF.
"Richard Dixon quite understandably changed his mind yesterday when the SNP broke a key manifesto promise by voting against three per cent annual carbon reductions. He called the SNP's climate change targets 'unambitious'.
"Climate change threatens our way of life in this country and the actual lives of tens of millions of people around the world. It deserves more than just spin from the First Minister."
